His career began in the banking sector, where he honed his expertise in foreign exchange and money market operations at HSBC before transitioning to a market risk analyst role at Credit Lyonnais.
Leveraging his deep understanding of the banking industry, Lee ventured into recruitment, establishing City Elite Recruitment Ltd. This venture successfully bridged talent with opportunities in the financial sector until 2024.
Currently, Lee is spearheading a new company that specialises in recruitment services for trade finance and transaction banking. Based in the UK, the firm works with leading banks and technology firms across the Middle East, UK, Europe, and the Americas.
Lee’s unique blend of banking acumen, risk management insight, and recruitment expertise positions him as a valuable connector in the international financial services ecosystem. Head of Middle East and Africa
Asoke Sen brings over three decades of distinguished expertise in Financial Institution Transaction Banking to his role as where he leads City Elite Transaction Services’ Middle East and Africa recruitment operations from Dubai. Most recently serving as Executive Director of GTB FI Sales at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Asoke’s career encompasses extensive experience across prestigious institutions including Mashreqbank, Emirates NBD and RBS PLC.
With a comprehensive background spanning India and the United Arab Emirates, Asoke has cultivated deep domain knowledge in Transaction Banking, underpinned by robust Credit and Relationship Management expertise throughout Asia and the Middle East. His thorough understanding of KYC and Compliance frameworks, coupled with experience in Wholesale Banking Internal Audit, brings valuable insight to the role.
Known for his adaptable leadership style and team-oriented approach, Asoke’s long-standing association with the Middle East and Africa region has fostered an extensive professional network.
